Jean-Marie Le Guen

The third generation in his family to become a hairdresser, Jean-Marie moved to London, from his native France, in 1988.

He joined the Sloane Square salon as a varderer, and joined the Covent Garden Team in 1989. As well as building a solid clientele, he was gaining editorial experience, and in 1994 he was promoted into a new position, Editorial Artistic Director. Jean-Marie spent the next two decades working on company shows, editorial photo shoots, and was a mainstay at London Fashion Week.

The musician of the salon, he loves to create, with hair or a bass guitar, and now takes care of his clients at the House of Sassoon Soho.
